Legal Reforms

  • Law n° 96-023 of July 07, 1996 pertaining to the organization of tourist activity in Mauritania (+ Tourism policy declaration 94)
  • Decree n°97-030 of April 05, 1997 pertaining to the regulation of the tourist guide profession in Mauritania ;
  • Decree n° 98-026 of May 16, 1998 fixing the amenities modalities in hotel accommodation establishments and restaurants ;
  • Order n°98-083 of August 18, 1998 determining norms and modalities of classification of the tourism establishments;
  • Decree n°2000-03 of January 18, 2000 fixing the application modalities and tax levy of tourism promotion;
